READ THIS CHECKLIST CAREFULLY AND USE IT AS AGUIDE FOR PREPARING YOUR APPLICATION.

 

• Student Statement:

Please put a great deal of thought and time into your student statement. It is a crucial element in determining if you will be a successful student at Mt. Edgecumbe High School.

 

• Parent/Guardian Statement:

In addition to the statement, please list any educational, family or social requirement that warrants attendance at MEHS.

 

• Educator Assessments: (Minimum of two.)

          Always follow up to insure that forms were completed and mailed.

 

• Course Grades:

Report cards for incoming 9th grade.  Transcripts up to semester 1 for all other grades.

 

•   Academic Test Scores: 

We need MAP scores from Fall or Winter of the current school year.  If your district does not administer MAP tests, please submit the most recent state assessment results.

 

Attention 11th and 12th grade if applicants:  Please submit ACT or SAT score if available.

 

PLEASE REMEMBER UNTIL MEHS HAS RECEIVED ALL DOCUMENTS LISTED ABOVE NO APPLICATION IS COMPLETE AND CANNOT BE REVIEWED.  PARENTS AND STUDENTS IT’S YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK WITH MEHS TO MAKE SURE ALL DOCUMENTS LISTED ABOVE HAVE BEEN RECEIVED BY THE SCHOOL.
